Teaching over 1,100 highly trained professionals that I have the utmost respect for, such as pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and nurses, via one webinar for PharmCon freeCE is daunting for so many reasons.
Teaching managers about the ADA, Title VII and PDA may seem dry and it can be … however, it’s incredibly critical for not just HR compliance but for the human-employee experience. To retain employees, we must practice and exceed the principles of these laws.
During these webinars, you can’t see my face (full of expression and humor that assist in conveying the lesson), and I cannot see your faces, WHICH IS TERRIFYING. One of my talents is reading a crowd and reconnoitering my style if needed. Humor is one of my biggest assets. My motto is “if they are laughing, they are listening.”
